I have taught clarinet and saxophone lessons privately for over 10 years. My students range from complete beginners to collegiate students, from elementary school students wanting to improve in band class to working adults wanting to pick up an instrument again as a hobby. 

 

Lessons are structured to work on both fundamental technique and musicality. Students are engaged in the lessons and are challenged to think creatively and analytically.

Lessons are typically 30 to 60 minutes. Other lesson lengths can also be arranged.

Rates for regularly scheduled lessons:

1 hour lesson: $100

45 minute lesson: $80

30 minute lesson: $60

Rates may vary for non-recurring lessons, such as for one time lessons, ensemble coaching, or coaching in extended techniques, bass clarinet, etc. Rates for non-recurring lessons will be determined before the lessons and based on the nature of the lesson.

Lessons typically take place at one of my two studios, located near E 41st Ave and Knight St, and near Marine Dr and Boundary Rd in Vancouver. Arrangements can be made for lessons to take place elsewhere or online for special circumstances only.
